Doors of Enlightenment

Location: Djerba island - Tunisia

These are the doors to small rooms surrounding a small mosque built in 9th century AD, Abi Meswar Mosque.
These rooms used to house students that travel months to get to this Mosque/Educational-Institution to pursue their higher education.
The mosque is still being used today for prayer.
